What You Missed at HubSpot’s Inbound 2015
It’s that time of year again. No, not the holiday season quite yet but it’s Hubspot’s Inbound 2015 event! No big deal. It’s only one of the marketing industry’s largest events of the year. If you are a busy bee like us, you probably couldn’t attend this year. But don’t worry, we did some snooping around and found some of the highlights from the first two days of the event and are sharing them with you to avoid FOMO.
Seth Godin continues to enlighten. What a great way to kick off the event. “America’s Greatest Marketer” took the stage on Tuesday to do what he does best, say it how it is. He shared with the crowd some of his words of wisdom on taking risks, constantly creating value, and not settling for the status quo. It was an inspiring keynote to start off the event. Take a look at what he had to say in these 16 tweets.

Brené Brown rocked the crowd. The award-winning author, professor, and TED speaker delivered a moving speech at #inbound15 yesterday as she talked about vulnerability, courage, and worthiness in the workplace. The crowd was blown away by her keynote and everyone was quoting her for the rest of the event. We are not surprised by this at all. Brené’s TED talk from 2010 is, by far, one of our favorite Ted Talks that we encourage everyone to watch.

Larry Kim buzzing on social media. The founder of WordStream shared with attendees several priceless Facebook and Twitter advertising hacks. Everyone got a closer look on how the algorithms of paid social media advertising really work. Imagine getting 10-100x more value from paid advertising? We like how that sounds! If you missed the presentation, you can actually view to his Slideshare deck where Larry shared his presentation slides.

Laura Fitton won our H.E.A.R.T: HubSpot’s Inbound Marketing Evangelist captured the hearts of all attendees with her inspiring presentation on inbound marketing. Her cheesy, yet very inspiring, H.E.A.R.T slide was the most talked about slide of the day. Her key message of the day was to be Humble, Effective, Adaptable, Remarkable, and Transparent in all your marketing efforts.
