Brand awareness campaign to salute the respiratory care teams that breathe life into their work.
The Situation
We worked with Avanos to develop an umbrella campaign strategy for their respiratory care division. While Avanos is a relatively new company, the BALLARD* brand has extensive brand recognition as the inventor of the closed suction catheter.
The foundation of this campaign was a celebration and salute to all the respiratory care teams who make breathing their lives work. The BALLARD* Breathing Life campaign and the initial five respiratory therapists featured serve as a launch for an ongoing campaign platform that will extend across the globe.
We encouraged peers to nominate respiratory care individuals whose passion for patient care often goes unnoticed. The campaign includes original photography, video interviews, and creative implementation.

Our process for the video development includes pulling relevant clips from our interviews and developing a storyline introducing the campaign and BALLARD* product offering.

The launch video was played at the AARC trade show and on social media.

To set the stage for longterm success of the new BALLARD* Avanos Respiratory Health social channels, we worked with the Avanos team to gain a clear understanding of their business, voice, messaging, branding, goals, and competitors.
From there we developed a strategy that aligned with their vision and integrated the new Breathing Life campaign with existing content.
Social Media Content
We are supporting the Respiratory Care division with their ongoing social media initiatives. This content integrates the look and feel of the Breathing Life campaign and carries it into other brand initiatives to create a cohesive look across social media.
