ParkerWhite Receives Advertising Awards for Diabetes Disease Awareness Website Heal2gether
The Shire Regenerative Medicine program Heal2gether is a national Diabetes disease awareness campaign dedicated to educating individuals on diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) and proper foot care. As the program reach has grown, the value of our efforts has been recognized not only by the diabetes community, but also throughout the advertising industry.
Out of 133 entries, the Heal2gether.org website received The Outstanding Achievement Award in the category of Health/Nutrition in the Interactive Media awards.
The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development. The website was judged on design, content, functionality, usability and cross-browser compatibility.
Most recently, the Heal2gether Diabetes Disease awareness website also won three Silver awards In the W3 Awards in the categories of Health, Copy Writing and Video/Motion Graphics.
The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web and recognize the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, videos and marketing programs. The website was judged on its creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design and ease of use.
The website was built with a custom CMS (content management system) that allows the client to easily maintain and update content. Additionally, we tied the specialist search function into the Google Maps API in order to give users a dynamic feature.
Here’s what Justin Gardner, Senior Marketing Manager Shire Regenerative Medicine, has to say about our work:
“ParkerWhite delivered both creative and strategic excellence in developing and executing our direct-to-consumer campaign for Heal2gether. The website was the backbone to the campaign and has provided intuitive functionality, aesthetic design, with a focus on driving patient action. The results have exceeded our expectations!”
